Vino's Chronicles
The household stories behind the guides. Vino, Zola, four chickens, one rooster, and the neighbour's Staffy, who has still never won an argument. Vino came home with me from a biodynamic vineyard in northern Tasmania about four years ago. Zola arrived a few months later. She is black, slender, 3.9 kg, and finds his enthusiasm exhausting. He wants to play. She hisses. They will share a windowsill and sleep close together and never actually cuddle. The Staffy gets ignored from exactly a metre away, which is the entire point. These are the posts where I write about living with them rather than explaining them.
