Welcome to the official record of domestic life as observed from the most strategic vantage point in the household: the top of the chaise longue. Vino's Chronicles is the primary archive of the Viniferous household — a curated account of one tuxedo cat's extraordinary existence and the various humans who exist, quietly and gratefully, in service to it. Here, the Chronicler records matters of genuine consequence: Vino's considered opinions on the quality of the morning sunbeam; the precise circumstances under which Zola executed her latest act of elegant sabotage; the household staff's many well-intentioned but ultimately misguided interventions in daily affairs that were, frankly, none of their business. These are not cat stories. These are dispatches from a household where rank is clear, standards are exacting, and the residents — both furred and otherwise — have long since accepted the natural order of things. The narrative began in a winery barn. It has since moved indoors and considerably upmarket, which is as it should be.
